Iguana

Iguana is a type of lizard that lives in tropical areas of Central America, SouthAmerica and the Caribbean. The first time they were mentioned by a naturalistJosephus Nicolaus Laurenti Austrian nationality in 1768. There are two different species of this lizard species: the green iguana and iguana Small Antilles.

Both species of lizard has a fold of skin under the jaw, a bunch of hardened skinthat lined the back to tail, and the "third eye" in his head. The eye is called theparietal eye, which looks like a milestone on its head. On the back of the neckthere are small scales which resemble spikes long, and called a tuberculatescale. Iguana also has a large circular scales in cheek-called sheath subtimpani.
Iguanas have good eyesight and can see shapes, shadows, color, and movementat long distances. Iguana uses his eyes to direct them to wade through dense forest, to find food. They also use their eyes to communicate with members of the same species.
They respond to visual stimuli in the form of colors such as orange, yellow, pink, and blue food substance contained in them.

Iguana's ear is called the tympanum, which is the iguanas and the eardrum islocated in the upper right subtimpani veil and behind the eyes. This is the iguana's body very thin and delicate, and very important for the hearing.
They are often difficult to know the whereabouts because of their ability to blend with the surroundings. Natural green color is very helpful in concealing itself frompredators.
